Rational numbers have the form p/q. 

They also have another representation (which is not unique). We can show it with decimals:

  • non-repeating: 4.234
  • repeating. 3.456456456

If you think about it, you have a clear pattern. But what about the numbers which do not repeat and are also infinite. 

The cardinality of rational numbers is the same as natural numbers.
